It all started with fun and games, really! Some friends showed us some freeze dried skittles and we were hooked! It wasn’t long until we realized that we were onto something big. While most preservation methods have a limited shelf life while destroying nutrient density, we found that freeze drying our goods meant they could sit on our shelf for 25 years and be as fresh, and as nourishing, as the day that we dried them. Canning, and other methods, use intense heat that changes the taste, color, and texture of foods. That’s not the case with our goods! The sky's the limit when it comes to our delicious treats. You can create whole meals, or enjoy snacks on the go, and never worry about your fruits or veggies or meats spoiling again. Friends and family loved what we were creating and soon everyone wanted the local farmers’ market freeze dried goodies.

We source the best local and organic ingredients we can find to create delicious soups and snacks. Freeze drying has become a passion for us here in North County San Diego. The unique textures that come with freeze drying have inspired us to experiment with flavors and combos and finding new and exciting treats and meals have become a passion for us.
